Searcy Mural Tour
Take a visual journey through Searcy’s historic streets and parks. Searcy’s art scene could not be contained to a single gallery; it’s only natural for it to flow onto walls throughout the city. Download the brochure below to view the location of each mural. There are QR codes at the murals taking you to the artists’ exclusive looks into each piece. You can also view these videos below.
Printed copies of the brochure are available in downtown businesses.

Downtown Arch Ave.
Searcy’s first mural, located on the west side of the White County Tax Assessor’s Office, was completed in 2010 by students from Harding University’s Department of Art and Design. The project was led by Professor Daniel Adams and supplies were donated by Main Street Searcy. Adams partnered once again with Main Street for the 2014 veterans’ mural. In 2016, an art initiative called the ThinkArt Project, now the Creative Group of Arkansas, was created to engage local artists and businesses to celebrate Searcy’s rich cultural heritage and notable moments through murals. This initiative has not just transformed blank walls into a public gallery, but has sparked local interest and increased tourism, turning downtown into a canvas that narrates the community’s ongoing story through visually striking and meaningful artwork. We are excited for you to experience these stories through this mural tour of downtown Searcy.
